Here we will show you how to save you a lot of time with product images.
Product imagery on a lifestyle store are updated a lot. Maybe you shoot the same products every season to keep things fresh, maybe you’ve re-designed your website and you need to use a different style or crop of image to your existing product data.
With Setary we can simplify the update of those product images.
1. Setup Image location
Setup your images on a hosted platform, so Setary has access to them. This is anything with https:// in front of the image.
2. Input into spreadsheet
You will now need to add into the spreadsheet, add under column names “images”, this will make sure you auto-sync columns when you import. You can set the column name to anything, but you will need to sync when you import. The input format needs to be using a comma-seperated string. E.G, “image.jpg, image2.jpg”.
3. Import into Setary
You’re now ready to import into Setary, once imported, you can click the image icon next to the image URL to check everything is as expected. Now would be a good time to check all the image meta data as it’s an important part of image SEO. Remember, if you are merging products, you need to make sure the SKU is set.

4. Save Products
Once you’re happy with everything, you can save the products and the image uploads will commence, this may take sometime, so make sure you’ve got a coffee ready!
