About Setary
Bulk editing WooCommerce products has always been harder than it should be. James Kemp noticed this early. He was already well-known in the WordPress world as the founder of Iconic, a respected WooCommerce plugin shop, and he could see that store owners were wasting hours on product updates that should take minutes. So he built Setary to fix it.
James has since handed over the reins to focus on his role at WooCommerce itself, where he now works as Core Product Manager. He left Setary in good hands.
Who’s behind Setary now
Setary is now developed and run by Tom, an independent developer based in the UK, in partnership with Barn2 Plugins.
Barn2 is a WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify company with a team of 15, founded by Katie and Andy Keith. Since 2009, Barn2 has built websites and plugins used by over 100,000 stores and websites worldwide. The partnership brings deep WooCommerce expertise, a dedicated team, and the long-term commitment to keep Setary growing well into the future.
How Setary has grown
Setary started as a WooCommerce bulk editor. It now supports bulk editing across all WordPress post types, as well as bulk editing for Shopify stores. The core idea hasn’t changed: editing your products, posts, and data in bulk should be fast, flexible, and not require a developer.
